Acumen Public Affairs is pleased to announce Duncan Lumsden as a new senior advisor on all topics related to media and communications. Duncan offers Acumen a wealth of media and editorial expertise, accumulated over his 25 years of experience in Brussels.   

Working at the intersections of journalism, politics, law, advocacy and business, Duncan has developed a specialism in telling complex stories simply, with clarity and impact. Before Acumen, Duncan was a founding director and Global Managing Editor of regulatory-risk newswire MLex, overseeing editorial operations and content. 

Duncan has in-depth knowledge of policy areas ranging from antitrust, and mergers to digital, trade, and energy. He has also written for a variety of newspapers, and beyond journalism has amassed experience advising on communication campaigns for major blue-chip and high-level political clients across diverse industries, markets and subject matters.
