The pandemic showed just how much the EU can do in health policy. While those years were marked by the emergency response, the years ahead will be shaped by structural reforms for a more competitive, innovative Europe that meets evolving public needs. Close cooperation with all stakeholders will be essential to ensure that health policies rise to the moment.
