Combining her strong scientific background and keen interest in regulatory affairs, Stella brings insight into sustainability-related issues.

Stella has a PhD in Science, with a particular expertise in nanomaterials. She has extensive experience in academic research, and she is the author of peer-reviewed articles published in high-impact factor scientific journals.

Prior to joining Acumen, she was a scientific collaborator at Sciensano, the Belgian Institute of Public Health, where she was enrolled in various and diverse projects both at national and European level.

Through her studies and work experience, she acquired advanced management and analytical skills, which allow her to tackle complex issues in a productive manner.

At Acumen, Stella aims to provide guidance on the chemicals regulatory framework and to contribute to maintaining a high level of protection for people and the environment alike, in line with the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability of the European Green Deal.
