Driven by a strong interest in how EU policy decisions translate into real-world health outcomes, Samuele is a committed advocate for stronger European health policy, with a particular focus on cardiovascular health.
Before joining Acumen, he worked on EU-level health policy and institutional engagement, supporting advocacy initiatives aimed at strengthening healthcare systems and improving patient outcomes. His work involved monitoring legislative and policy developments, translating scientific evidence into policy-relevant messages, and supporting outreach to EU institutions and Members of the European Parliament. He also contributed to the coordination of multi-stakeholder alliances, bringing together professional and patient organisations to advocate for stronger EU health action.
At Acumen, Samuele supports clients in the health and life sciences space through policy analysis, monitoring, advocacy support and stakeholder engagement.
Advocating for good health policy is not an end in itself, it is a mean to deliver better outcomes for patients.
