Patricia is a pharmacist, passionate about Global Health. Her background being in pharmaceutical sciences, she can quickly accommodate complex and multi-layered health policy contexts in a wide range of topics.  During her studies and the beginning of her professional path, she had the chance to work on public-health projects internationally as part of the public health committee of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation implementing online and offline campaigns worldwide. In the past, she also worked as a community pharmacist, an experience that enabled her to experience firsthand the patient and public perspective on health-related topics. More recently she has enrolled in a traineeship at the European Commission’s DG for Health and Food Safety, where she had the opportunity to acquire actively sound knowledge and practical experience of EU policies, particularly in Global Health.
