Account Manager

When Michael’s interest in European politics first took shape, it was against the backdrop of growing up in Greece during the financial crisis — an experience that sparked a lasting curiosity about how European decisions are made and felt on the ground. A Greek national with a strong grounding in EU policymaking, he works at the intersection of public affairs and policy communications, combining analytical rigour and curiosity with a sharp sense for narrative.

Michael’s experience covers multiple EU policy areas, focusing on the intersection of energy, climate and digital policy. He began his Brussels career at Rud Pedersen Public Affairs, working across the Communications and Energy & Climate teams, where he supported clients in shaping coherent messages and advancing policy priorities through engagement with EU institutions. He contributed to communications and public affairs activities for clients including CCS Europe, SkyNRG, Stockholm Exergi and Liquid Gas Europe. Following his consultancy experience, Michael moved in-house to the EU representation office of the Greek energy utility PPC, supporting policy communications and engagement across energy and digital files. Before Brussels, he worked as an external researcher on the green transition and energy poverty and completed his mandatory military service as a Military Intelligence Officer.
