Laura is a Sustainability Trainee Consultant whose curiosity for how policies shape people’s lives has led her across a wide spectrum of policy areas, from sustainability to agriculture and migration. Her experience bridges both the private and public sector as well as several European countries.
She started her journey at the Brussels office of Regione Piemonte, where she supported the region’s participation in EU institutions and associations, focusing on environmental, transport and agricultural policy.
Deeply engaged in youth organisations, Laura is passionate about making EU policy more accessible.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Law, a master’s degree in European Legal Studies and two minors in Law and Technology and Migration Studies from the University of Turin. She also holds a Diploma in Transnational Legal Studies from King’s College London and Georgetown Law School.
Her experience spans across different countries, having studied and worked in Turin, Maastricht, London, Geneva and Brussels. At Acumen, she joins the Sustainability team as a trainee to contribute to key projects while expanding her knowledge and skills.
Outside of her work on sustainability, Laura enjoys running, learning new languages and reading murder mystery novels. She is fluent in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
Consulting in public affairs has a lot to do with translation: from the language of the EU to practical insights for client to make their mark in sustainability policy.
