Joanne
Hupertan

Joanne is a Junior Consultant in Acumen Public Affairs’ health team. With experience in both the public and private sectors, she is committed to helping companies navigate regulatory changes at the EU and global levels.

Her interest in the intersection of the public and private sectors led her to undertake a traineeship within the European Parliamentary Research Service. As part of the unit bridging politics and society, she synthesised EU legislative developments in foreign and social affairs to assist MEPs and other parliamentary services in responding to citizens’ enquiries.

Joanne then transitioned into the health sector, interning in another Brussels-based public affairs agency. In this role, she assisted companies to adapt to EU and global legislative developments, with a particular focus on global health, cardiovascular diseases, and medical devices.
