Iona is a Junior Consultant within Acumen’s healthcare team, bringing her professional and academic expertise in public health to the role. Before joining Acumen, she worked as a Public Health Analyst & Engagement Manager at Ethica Health Partners in London, where she played a key role in planning, delivering, and reviewing projects focused on health inequalities and population health management. Prior to her role at Ethica, Iona gained valuable experience with the International Society of Nephrology, where she contributed to global advocacy efforts on non-communicable diseases.

Iona also collaborates with the M8 Alliance on research around AI and migration health ahead of the World Health Summit. She holds a BSc in Medical Biosciences and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Imperial College London. Her MPH thesis focused on how local authorities can improve the mental well-being of Looked After Children and Young People in the UK with interventions aimed at their caregivers, a topic that continues to shape her interests. Passionate about child health, she has contributed to several health needs assessment aimed at improving health outcomes for children. Iona is a native English and French speaker.
