Federico Brovelli is a bridge-builder between policy, industry, and sustainability. Over the past six years in Brussels, he has guided companies in the chemicals, agriculture, energy, and health sectors through the twists and turns of EU legislation – from the launch of the European Green Deal to the latest reforms shaping Europe’s green transition.
His journey spans the corridors of the European Parliament and the Senate in Rome, as well as the private sector, where he first worked on sustainability challenges from an industry perspective. With a Master in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University and additional degrees from Leiden University, Federico combines academic insight with hands-on policy experience.
Half Italian and half German, and fluent in several languages, he thrives in international environments where different perspectives meet. At Acumen, Federico brings curiosity, clarity, and a talent for shifting perspectives.
