As a Health Trainee Consultant, Aria brings an interdisciplinary perspective to health policy and communications, combining her expertise in global health with a passion for crafting clear, compelling narratives that bridge the gap between complex health issues and effective public engagement.
A mental health professional by training, Aria holds an MSc in Global Health from the University of Copenhagen, where she specialized in Policy, Financing, and Health Systems. She is particularly passionate about policy and communications in the fields of mental health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), digital health, and destigmatizing illness.
Before joining Acumen, Aria gained experience in both the public and private sectors. She has contributed to policy work for the European Training Foundation (ETF), and as the Greek representative to the European Leadership Academy, a highly competitive EU-wide programme that fosters the engagement of emerging professionals in policy. Additionally, she managed digital advocacy and communications for Eye on Global Health in Copenhagen and NGOs across Greece and Poland.
Aria is deeply motivated by the goal of making health policy equitable and sustainable for all.
Outside of her professional life, Aria is also a musician, with a love for playing the piano and singing
Every global health issue tells a real-life story, and every story deserves to be heard. I aim to make health policies not just understandable, but equitable and actionable for everyone they affect.
