Europe has been built during crises and the Covid pandemics will be the basis for a new pillar of our Union, the Health Union, which we are closely monitoring, following and backing up at Acumen Public Affairs

Benoît comes from Paris, has studied political sciences in the north of France and the north-west of Germany, European affairs at the College of Europe in Bruges. He speaks German and English and has already worked in Brussels. Therefore, he feels in Brussels like at home.

He is an EU enthusiastic who believes in the step-by-step approach. He gained experiences on European security at NATO HQ and at the French embassy in Latvia in the middle of the Ukrainian crisis of 2022.

He is a specialist of the EU decision-making process and public affairs. He acquired a thorough knowledge of EU healthcare system from the public side, when he worked at the French ministry of Public Health about the European response to the Covid crisis in 2021 and followed the development of a Health Union.

He is fascinated by sports (tennis, football), trips around Europe, European languages (with a good knowledge of Russian and basics in Latvian, Italian), history, literature, theatre and cooking.
