"In a volatile world, navigating uncertainty isn’t enough. At Acumen, we help shape what comes next. "
Agnes likes complex challenges with no obvious answers. For her, excellent public affairs happens where big ideas meet political reality. Her approach combines strategic insight with genuine curiosity about people, power and organisations. She challenges assumptions, connects unlikely perspectives and looks beyond official positions to understand what actually drives decisions and where common ground can unlock change. Because progress depends on more than the strongest argument.
Fascinated by the intersection of science, politics and business, she works with Acumen clients on strategy, positioning and advocacy. Her work often crosses borders and policy areas: whether building a global stakeholder alliance, coordinating a multi-market campaign or shaping policy in Brussels, she brings together the political, institutional and human realities that determine whether an idea takes hold.
A political anthropologist by training, Agnes has worked across consultancy, civil society, EU institutions and academia. Healthcare and life sciences are her passion, but her experience travels well beyond them, to climate, sustainability and industrial policy. And the anthropology never quite left her: it taught her to listen, to look beyond the obvious and to get comfortable being uncomfortable.
