Marthe-Marie’s academic and professional journey have been shaped by her interest in the intersection of the EU’s sustainability agenda and global trade dynamics. Drawing on an interdisciplinary background spanning international relations, economics, and sustainable development, she is particularly interested in how policy can advance the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient European economy.
Alongside her studies, Marthe-Marie has gained experience in EU sustainability policy through research and consultancy projects focused on sustainable finance, environmental governance, and stakeholder engagement. Having first joined Acumen’s Sustainability Team as an intern in 2024, she gained experience in analyzing policy developments across the energy, agri-food, technology, and chemicals sectors.
