"Health is, to me, the foremost good, the one on which all others depend. Helping shape the policies that protect it feels like the most meaningful work I could do. "

Chloé’s interest in healthcare began through her involvement with a patient association in France, where she saw how much people’s everyday lives depend on research, access to care and the decisions that shape them, and she began to ask how policy could make that path easier.

It was from across the Atlantic that Europe came into focus. While studying political science at Concordia University in Montreal, she watched the European Union from a distance and realised how often it served as a lever for change, setting standards and driving policies whose impact reached far beyond its borders. Seen from the outside, it struck her as a truly unique project, and, as a French citizen, one that felt like her own and that she wanted to help shape. Meanwhile, as a Parliamentary Assistant at the National Assembly of Quebec, she learned that behind every policy debate are people waiting to see what will change for them. She also co-directed TEDxConcordia and worked on fundraising for an international non-profit.

Back in Europe, she pursued a Master’s in European and International Studies at Sciences Po Strasbourg, with a detour into political communications advisory in Paris, before bringing her two interests together at Vaccines Europe. There, she discovered how much of a medicine’s journey depends on decisions taken long before it reaches a pharmacy shelf, and that good advocacy is less about having the loudest voice than about building trust, finding common ground and explaining complex issues clearly.

At Acumen, Chloé now brings that perspective to the healthcare team, with the conviction that a stronger European Health Union can make a real difference in patients’ lives. Outside of work, she is a dedicated runner and a true people person, never far from friends, good food or a lively discussion.
