Dan is a global communications and public affairs executive, thought leader, former Pulitzer-nominated financial journalist, and TEDx speaker working at the nexus of the public and private sectors, policy, public affairs, strategic communications, economics, geopolitics, Artificial Intelligence and technology. He has led diverse teams for some of the world’s most iconic brands in New York, Washington, Brussels, and Paris for Bloomberg, IBM, the U.S. State Department, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and the Pew Research Center. He has been a strategist to some of the most recognizable executives and policymakers on multiple continents. He started his career in Brussels helping international companies navigate the European Union.
Dan has executive leadership training from Wharton, Harvard Business School, and the London School of Economics and completed certificate courses at Wharton on Artificial Intelligence for Business Strategies and Decision-making, and at the Special Competitive Studies Project on AI in National Security. He is member of the Bretton Woods Committee and the Ditchley Foundation. He is an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University teaching public affairs, strategic communications and persuasion. He is a Techstars mentor and a member of the Board of Visitors at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dan is a sought-after speaker around the world, most recently on artificial intelligence. Dan is also a novelist and award-winning screenwriter.
